Changing things up...Stay tuned.

Hello there stamping friends,

I'll be changing things up on this blog.  Stay tuned.

New November Challenges are here!

November brings with it yummy, rich colors and I selected the following colors from the FSJ line that really get me into the Fall cardmaking spirit!  I hope these colors inspire you to create some yummy goodness in crafty form!
Bringing back the more simple layouts allows for some fun stamping in the background.  I can't wait to see what projects are contributed to this design sketch!

There were four people that participated in the challenge last month.  Thank you to those who took the time to contribute to the challenge.  I appreciate your time and effort in playing along.

Congratulations to October's challenge winner:
Sandie, Please post a comment (your comment will not be posted on this page) that provides your snail mail address so I can send out your prizes.  :)
Please link your NOVEMBER entries below:

***NOTE:  Due to low participation and blog traffic, I am considering discontinuing these challenges and am thinking a few new options for this blog.  In all honesty, It's disappointing to work hard on creating sketches, color schemes and contributing prizes to challenges that don't seem to be of interest to very many people.  Although I so appreciate those who participate in these challenges on a monthly basis, it makes me sad to know that there are only a few.  I definitely can use this time and money in other areas that will continue to encourage my love for crafting, sketching, designing and giving.   After some thought and reflection, I will be posting an update to share more information about the direction this blog will take.

Halfway there!

Hello Challenge Friends!

We're about halfway to the end of this month's challenge!  How are you doing?  Have you found the sketch and/or the colors inspirational?  Need some encouragement or helpful information?
This Month's Colors:  Try Colorblocking!  These colors work well when colorblocked!  Take some tips from the ultimate specialist in modern/organized composition, Mondrian!   Although we aren't using the triad colors (Red, Yellow, Blue), we can incorporate his philosophy and art structure in our card/craft designs.  Give it a try, I know you'll be impressed!  Read about a few of his key ideas HERE
The Sketch:  Try One Sheet Stamping or create a "sheet" of three color strips...The triptych may appear challenging or overwhelming at first, but when approaching from the most simplistic of starting points, the end result can be AMAZING!  Stamp one "sheet" repeatedly with the same stamp (I also embossed with a mix of clear and opaque white embossing powder), then mat those pieces onto panels and assemble onto your card base.  If your panels are a bit large...Stagger and overlap them!  Add a horizontal strip to tie them back together and a sentiment or embellishment to finish it off!  Check out why Triptych art is so successful HERE.

I hope you find some creative time to play...have fun...and #MAKEAMAZINGHAPPEN!  Remember to upolad your creations to the inlinks here to be eligible for the monthly prize drawing:

FSJCC1 Let's DO this!

Our first FSJ color challenge contains a delicious blend of color.  These colors came to mind as I was trying to decide whether to make a batch of blueberry muffins or some yummy lemon breakfast bars.  I added the green and the oatmeal just to make a good "healthy" combination.
Please link-up your challenge entry below.  You have until the last day of the month to post your entry so please consider joining this fun journey with us!  On the first of next month, we will announce ONE winner who will receive a fabulous Fun Stampers Journey prize pack!

***Please consider visiting the blogs of those who participate in the challenge and leave them some love!  There's nothing more heartwarming than to know that your work has been viewed, appreciated and acknowledged!
